Volleyball has been a part of my life for a long time and now I am fulfilling a dream by starting KC11 Training! Besides providing me with a way to stay active and out of trouble, I can honestly say that my involvement in sports has provided me with the most valuable life lessons. The life skills developed during my years of competition continue to serve me well. What did I learn as an athlete, besides how to play the game??
Discipline, Time Management, Leadership, Teamwork, and Coping Skills
I also learned that working hard and having fun are not mutually exclusive concepts, and that sports should always be fun! I come from a family of coaches, and that has always been a core value in how the game was taught, how practices were run, and how the game was played. It’s time to take all of that knowledge and experience, and create the opportunity for others to excel in this great game, as well as in life!
